About us

The Department of Business Administration was established in 1998 to create and nurture management leaders. It has since focussed on the holistic development of students through an exclusive academic structure, industry interactions, entrepreneurial training, and value education. The Department is supported by a team of faculty members who are committed to high standards in academics.

The courses are designed to keep abreast of the industry demands. Keeping in mind the dynamic business world, the students are given opportunities to get a whiff of the contemporary business environment by undertaking internships, assignments, and project work in various organisations in India and abroad. The students are offered a unique opportunity to specialise in the functional areas of Marketing, Finance or Human Resources.

Fostering independent thinking and group work is a hallmark of the Department. To encourage group responsibility, leadership and organisational capabilities there is a student association called ‘Management Mavericks’.

The students are also given an opportunity to complete one semester abroad at universities such as Letourneau University, Texas and Liverpool Hope University, UK. In the words of Abhirami Ajith who completed a semester abroad at  Liverpool Hope University, UK, “I benefitted tremendously from what was taught in the classes and I also became more responsible, getting adapted to a completely alien city and acquainting with  people I have never met before. I wouldn’t have got an exposure this big anywhere else. It also gave me insights into my higher education and career prospects in the UK”.
