About us

The Department was established in the year 1999 and it offers a 3-year under graduate programme in Computer Applications (BCA). The programme is designed to meet the demand for well-qualified computer professionals. The curriculum is well structured and designed to focus on providing a strong foundation in all technical aspects of computers and its applications. The Department aims to impart high quality education matching the strides with technological advancements and globalisation, and strives to instil the moral values and principles to mould the students to be better citizens of our society. The Department has well qualified and vibrant faculty dedicated to ensure the betterment of the students. The Department has a well-equipped computer lab with good configuration computer systems and the required software with high end internet facility. Seminars and workshops are also organised periodically to help the students gain exposure on the recent trends in the IT industry and expand their horizons on learning new topics. The Department has witnessed tremendous growth in various aspects including academics, infrastructure, extra-curricular activities and placement opportunities of our students.

  • A good collection of text books are available for core, supporting and elective subjects in the field of computer science and its applications. 
  • The issue and return of books are maintained with proper records.
