HABIT A tall, aromatic, perennial grass.
MORPHOLOGY Stem grows up to 2 m tall.Leaf is Linear. They are smooth and hairless, white on the upper surface and green beneath.Flower has inflorescence is a loose, nodding panicle, about 60 cm long and reddish to russet in color. The pedicels are tinged with purple.
