MORPHOLOGY	Leaflets bear toothed margins,lanceolate, 2-4cm in length, 1-2cm wide. Uses the two-branched axillary tendril often found at the base of the inflorescence to climb. Flowers bear four sepals, two large and two small, four whitish petals. It bears inflated, green papery capsule.
MEDICINAL PROPERTIES	ul {margin: 0;} It is used in the treatment of nervous diseases, stiffness of the limbs and snakebite. The leavesare used as a poultice in the treatment of rheumatism. A tea prepared from the leaves is used in the treatment of itchy skin. Salted leaves are used as a poultice on swellings.
