MORPHOLOGY	Stem is simple or branched,green - purple,shining at first,terete when old, with longitudinal row of hairs on two opposite sides and Leaves are sessile,opposite,rounded,acute at apex,tapering at base,glabrous or thinly hairy.Inflorescence are spikes.Flowers are small,white in colour.Fruit are brownish coloured.
