About us
Postgraduation in Commerce is one of the prudent options for students after their undergraduation in Commerce / Business Administration / Corporate Economics. The degree offers a plethora of career opportunities in the fields of Accounting, Auditing, Banking, Education, Human Resource, Marketing, Research, etc.
The PG Department of Commerce, started functioning since 2018 and has a strength of 80 students at present. Organising activities like conferences, webinars, and workshops strengthens the academic standard of the students and provides opportunity for research and publication. Organising community development programmes, entrepreneurial activities and events stimulating environmental/social responsibility are some of the highlights of the Department.
WCC being a Participating Institute (PI) for Unnat Bharat Abhiyan (UBA) activities, the Department co-ordinated UBA activities during 2019 – 2021, one of the flagship programmes of MHRD, Government of India.
Adding to the prestige of the Department the students have secured high level placements and have qualified in UGC-Net and other professional examinations. Internship programmes and the Final Semester Project offered to the students makes them adapt better to industry requirements. Altogether, the programme provides quality education and holistic development for the students.
