About us
The Department was established in the year 1999 and it offers a 3-year degree programme in Computer Applications. The programme is designed to meet the demand for well-qualified computer professionals. The curriculum focusses on providing a strong foundation in all technical aspects of computers applications. The Department aims to impart quality education matching strides with technological advancements and globalisation, and strives to instill the moral values and principles to mould students to be better citizens of our society. The Department has well qualified and vibrant faculty dedicated to ensuring the betterment of the students. The Department has a well-equipped computer lab with latest computer software and internet facility. Seminars and workshops are also organised which help the students to gain exposure to the recent trends in the IT industry and expand their horizons on learning new topics. The Department has witnessed tremendous growth in various aspects including academics, infrastructure, extra-curricular activities and placement opportunities of our students.

Computer Lab
- The computers are installed with a variety of advanced softwares to support the practical sessions.
- All computers are connected with high end network and supported by high-speed internet connectivity

- The Department has a well established computer lab with adequate number of computers with the latest configuration and the required peripherals.
- The lab is equipped with an adequate number of computers to provide one to one support to the students for their lab classes.
Department Library
- The Department maintains its own library to support the needs of the students and faculty.
- A good collection of text books are available for core, supporting and elective subjects in the field of computer science and its applications.
- The issue and return of books are maintained with proper records.

Highlights
Techno-Meet -Compsync ‘21
As part of the Department association a techno meet was organised online on 13th of February, 2021, by all the computer science departments. Nearly 110 participants from various colleges all over the state actively participated in the various events.
International Conference on Recent Advances in Communications and Computing Technologies (ICRACCT2020) was organised on 24th & 25th January, 2020.
Alumnae Meet 2020
An Alumnae meet was organised on 4th January, 2020, to commemorate the 20th Anniversary of the Department.
